Based on the desired level of qualification, Finetech training is essential for machine operators, process engineers and staff in charge of system maintenance and repair.

Incorporating your specific goals, you will gain a deeper insight into effective operation and/or maintenance of your FINEPLACER^® system. Theoretical foundations, as well as hands-on training, will help prepare you for future challenges in your specific application work.

Four different levels of qualification allow for uniquely tailored training to meet the specific requirements of the participants.

Rework Training BASIC (R1)

• Basics of reflow soldering
• Introduction to working with a FINEPLACER^® system
• Basics of IPMCommand^TM / ReflowCommand^TM / WinCOMISS reflow software
  Duration: approx. 4 h

Rework Training ADVANCED (R2)

• Use and modification of the IPMCommand^TM / ReflowCommand^TM / WinCOMISS reflow software
• Process structures and creation of a process file
• Basic profile creation with temperature measuring
• Basic machine maintenance
  Duration: approx. 4 h - requires knowledge and skills of R1

Rework Training APPLICATION (RA)

• Temperature curves according to IPC/JEDEC standards
• Profile optimization with PCB preparation and advanced temperature control
• Profile optimization for typical component categories
• Additionally: leadless components - direct solder paste printing, BGA rework and reballing, small passives rework with high process stability, package-on-package (PoP) rework, rework of underfilled components
• Individual customer applications by request
  Duration: approx. 8 h - requires knowledge and skills of R1+R2

Rework Training MAINTENANCE (RM)

• Check and configure top and bottom heating
• Maintenance of optics and video system
• Check and maintain pneumatic parts
• Adjustment of parallelism and beam
• Maintenance of soldering tools
  Duration: approx. 4 h

Finetech is here to support you in realizing your training objectives. The particularly diverse field of advanced packaging demands customer and application specific training. We will gladly arrange and execute workshops based on your specifications and requirements.

Furthermore, we offer custom training on uniquely configured FINEPLACER^® rework and micro assembly systems. Practical and application-oriented workshops will help you achieve superior results.

Registration
For an optimized and beneficial training experience, the maximum number of participants per workshop is set at 10. Therefore, early registration is recommended. The minimum number of participants per workshop is 5, except when otherwise stipulated.

Registration must be submitted in written form (fax/mail/online) and will be considered in the order received. Registration will be confirmed in writing.

 Services (Rework Training)
The participation fee for Finetech training workshops includes training material, availability of premises, use of hardware and software, lecturer's fee, lunch and beverage. Not included are expenses for travel and accommodation.

Services (Custom Training)
Custom training workshops can be arranged for a individuals representing one company. All services are subject to conditions stated in the binding quotation.

Cancellation
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled up to two weeks prior to the start of training. Cancellations received within 14 days of the training date will be charged a cancellation fee of 50%. Those received within 7 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellation must be received in written form.

Finetech reserves the right to cancel training up to 14 days prior to the start date (due to unavailability of the instructor or not meeting minimum enrollment numbers). Already paid participation fees will be refunded. Further requirements of any kind, particularly indemnity requirements, are excluded.

Responsibility
It is the client's responsibility to choose the appropriate training / level of qualification. Finetech will gladly help you select the most suitable program for your requirements. All training will be carefully prepared and realized utilizing state of the art equipment and practices. We hold no liability for general applicability or further use of acquired knowledge.

All rights are reserved. Without permission granted it is not allowed to copy, duplicate or digitize any training material in part, or as a whole, by any method.

Modified training procedure
We reserve the right to appoint a substitute instructor, to modify training content and to adapt location and time of training (in accordance with the participants) without granting a subsequent cancellation right for the contractual partner.

Certificate
Every participant will receive a certificate stating his aquired level of qualification and imparted skills and knowledge.

Invoice practice
The participant will be charged at the beginning of the training. The invoice must be paid in full within 10 days, including the effectual VAT (value added tax) for the day of invoice. By signing the registration form or any other written registration paper or by clicking on "Register" (online registration), the customer agrees to the 'Terms and Conditions' of the Finetech training workshops.

Partial participation in the training does not constitute a claim for reduced participation fees.

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes associated with the Finetech training service is Berlin, Germany.
